Tasty Tuesday

There are some things that just take me back to my childhood, and Sloppy Joe’s are one of them. I don’t remember eating them a lot as a child, but they just bring me back to my younger days. I found a Sloppy Joe recipe that’s not only easy to make, but pretty darn tasty too.
Super-Simple Sloppy Joe’s:
What you will need:
1 (16.3oz) Can Pillsbury Grands Buttermilk Biscuits (Reduced Fat)
- 1 lb. Ground Beef1/4 Cup chopped green bell pepper1 small onion, chopped1 (10 3/4oz) can condensed tomato soup1/4 Cup water1 1/4 Teaspoon Chili powder1/4 Teaspoon hot pepper sauce
Directions:
1) Heat oven to 375F. Bake biscuits as directed on can.
2) Meanwhile, in a large skillet, cook beef, bell pepper, and onion over medium-high heat until beef is thoroughly cooked, stirring frequently. Drain, stir in all remaining ingredients. Cover; simmer 10 minutes or until thoroughly heated.
3) To serve, split warm biscuits. Spoon beef mixture into biscuits.
This recipe makes 8 Sloppy Joe’s.
