I’d like to start by asking where all the cookie recipes are? Come on people, I need to make some cookies for Cameron’s party. Here’s a little reminder of what I’m looking for.

With that said, let’s get down to business. Anyone who knows me knows I LOVE meat. I am a carnivore to my core. I love that Giant has frequent buy one get one sales on London broil, and I stock up whenever I get the chance. Today I have for you a sweet and savoy way to enjoy a good piece of steak.

Balsamic Marinated Steak:

What you will need:

1/2 Cup balsamic vinegar
1 Tablespoon, packed light brown sugar
1 Teaspoon dried rosemary
Salt & pepper
1 1/2 – 2 Pounds of your favorite cut of steak (I like London broil)

Directions:

1) Combine vinegar, sugar, rosemary and 1 1/2 teaspoon of salt in a ziplock bag. Add steak to bag, seal and turn over a few times to coat steak. Refrigerate at least 20 minutes, turning once or twice.

2) Preheat grill to high. Remove steak from marinade and sprinkle both side with salt and pepper. Discard remaining marinade. Grill steak for 4-6 minutes, turn over and continue to grill until done, about another 3-4 minutes for medium rare (depending on thickness of meat).

3) Transfer steak to a cutting board, tent loosely with foil and let sit for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.

Still too cold for you to grill? You can also use your broiler or even cooktop to make this yummy steak. Use a lightly oiled, ridged pan to cook on your stove. Cooking times are about the same.

Serve this with a baked potato and some broccoli and you have a delicious meal that’s guaranteed to please.

Happy Grilling!

*Another great recipe complements of ALL YOU.
