I’m bringin’ blogging back…

So it’s been about a month since I’ve taken part in the wonderful world of blogging, and a lot has happened. Like I told you last time, we have decided that it is time to sell our house and move on to bigger and better things. So in this past month we have put the finishing touches on our home, put it up on the market, and had a few little nibbles at it. Also in the past month we have found a new house and made an acceptable offer. So it is with great pleasure that I announce that we will be settling on our new home July 20th! YAY!
With a larger home come larger bills…of course. Larger bills means that this mama needs to start bringing in a few bucks so we can continue to live in the comfortable manner we are so used to. Of course my first thought was to return to the life I so happily left behind…retail.
Anyone who has ever worked in retail knows that it’s mostly a nights and weekends kind of gig. Anyone who has a family knows that nights and weekends are typically family time. So what’s a mommy to do?
Oh, lets not forget the other downside to working retail; being surrounded by things to buy all day long. For some that might not be a big deal, but for the shopaholic in this mama, a part time job might end up costing me money.
Some of you might remember I had given doing paid blogging a try. For me, and my little blog it didn’t seem to work out. People who pay bloggers to write want writers from bigger, more well known blogs to do their bidding. Maybe someday I can use this as a platform to bring my family some extra income.
So where does that leave me now? Who knows? Anyone out there who has a suggestion, please pass it along.
Until I figure it out I’m going to work hard to bring you worth while content and great stories of my boys and the adventures they take me on each day.
