Legacy of Clean

All-Purpose Surface Wipes

A few weeks ago at the Welcome Spring open house, I was graciously given a package of wipes to try out and let you know what I think. I’m the perpetual skeptic, so I really didn’t expect them to work as well as what I was already using. As it so often happens, I was pleasantly surprised.

When I first pulled one out to use in my powder room, I thought they were a little too wet. In my past experience with these things, when the wipe is too wet it leaves streaks. Not the case here. The Legacy of Clean wipes got all the soap scum and dirty finger prints (left by my children) up in one easy swipe. With one wipe I cleaned the counter tops, the cabinet faces, the top of the toilet and even the window sill, though not necessarily in that order. I was shocked at just how far one wipe could go. The only downside to bathroom cleaning was the chrome faucet, it did leave streaks there. While that’s kind of a bummer, it’s not a deal breaker for me and these wipes.

After I finished the bathroom, I moved out into the kitchen. Once again, I was pleasantly surprised. Despite the fact that these wipes don’t have the scrubby side (yes, that’s a technical term) I’m used to, they had no problem cutting through all the nastiness on my counters. The coffee splatter over by the Keurig…Gone. The goo left behind from the kids…gone. Jelly that sat on the counter all afternoon…gone. Even the unidentifiable sticky stuff was wiped away with the greatest of ease. Unlike some of the other all-purpose wipes, there wasn’t a yucky film left behind, just clean counters and a fresh citrusy scent. I have a pretty decent sized kitchen here on The Hill and the Legacy of Clean wipes cleaned more with just one wipe than any other wipe I’ve tried yet.

I moved from the kitchen counters to the kitchen table. My table is pretty gross pretty much all the time. I have two boys, would you actually expect it to be clean? If you do, then you must not have kids. With a couple vigorous scrubs, the yogurt that Logan thought was furniture polish and the jelly that Cameron thought was finger paint were just a distant memory. I still use the furniture spray and a rag to polish the table (it is wood), but the Legacy of Clean wipes get the crust off before I polish.

A little about these wonderful wipes… Legacy of Clean wipes are made of biodegradable ingredients so you can feel a little better about using a disposable wipe. They are “planet-positive”, featuring naturally derived ingredients for better cleaning results. There are no phosphates, chlorine or other unpleasant ingredients that could harm the environment.

I used the Legacy of Clean All-Purpose Wipes all over my house and definitely wasn’t disappointed. I’m pretty sure I’ll be keeping a supply handy around the house.
