A Week In Mommyland (Week 15)

15 Apr

I know I say it every week, but this year is just flying right by. It blows my mind that we’re now half way through April. May is a big month for me and it’ll be here before I know it.

I am happy to feel some warmer temperatures finally moving in though. We had two days of summer this week and I have to say it was almost too hot.

Monday.

Nothing says Monday morning like having the water go out while you’re in the shower. The entire morning and hundreds of dollars later and we had water once again.

Thankfully Bill was able to come home and supervise the repair. There were some anxious moments as we waited for the 240 feet of pipe to come to the surface.

Tuesday.

Cameron loves to draw. Tuesday he drew this little picture for Bill to hang up at his desk. I can’t help but smile every time I look at it.

Wednesday.

Now that Bill will be working out of the house (more on that soon) we can all go places together. This week we did a lot of running around so that he could be set and ready for his new role.

What you can’t see is that Bill has a latte and Logan has a box of chocolate milk. I love my guys.

Thursday.

In case you live under a rock and didn’t know it, the Masters was on ALL. WEEKEND. LONG!

The coverage in our house started on Thursday afternoon. Not long after this photo was taken I was out cold. I can’t stand to watch golf.

Friday.

The stress of not yelling at the boys and having Bill around the house a little more had me in need of some “comfort food”. I will always love the Circus Peanut and it’s marshmallowy goodness.

When we stopped at Giant for a few items and I saw that they were on sale I had to give them the squeeze test. Oooh, they’re fresh, of course I had to have a bag. Don’t worry, I shared some with the boys.

Saturday.

The kid refuses to take a nap on the weekends but stick him in the car in the late afternoon and he’s out cold.

Sunday.

Spring took it’s sweet time getting here this year but it was finally time to mow the lawn. Bill had a little trouble getting the damn thing started and he got me high on gasoline fumes last night but eventually the grass was cut.

I’ll be interested to see what kind of lawn we have this year now that Bill is working form home. Will it be better or worse than when he was on the course? Time will tell.

I hope you had a great week and were able to get outside and enjoy a little spring like weather.

Did you have any photo worthy events?
