Mommyland Happenings {Volume 1}

Welcome to the first week of the 2016 Mommyland Happenings! There was a big focus on fitness this week since it is the first week of the New Year and I have recommitted to being active.

Sunday.

Cooper loves car rides, especially when they’re to go have dinner at Mimi and Poppy’s house.

Monday.

I hit the road after nearly two months of not running. Every step was effort, I came home and sobbed regretting all those days I didn’t run.

Tuesday.

Even my phone is calling me out on my excuses. This popped up unprompted.

Wednesday.

Three days into the work we and three days out for a run. I needed this head clearing run after a rough morning.

Thursday.

In addition to my return to running I decided to get back into yoga as well. Yoga is a great compliment to running since it helps to stretch out my tight muscles.

Please don’t judge me on my need for a pedicure.

Friday.

Something that always makes me smile, playing with Cooper.

Saturday.

My favorite mug is actually my new owl mug but Cooper and I were “attacked” by an owl early Saturday morning and I couldn’t even look at that mug when it came time for my morning tea. This one seemed a little more fitting.
