Thankful Thursday

In celebration of the up coming holiday season, I’ve decided to make Thursdays about giving thanks. I’m going to share some of the things I’m thankful for as a SAHM. I also want to give back this holiday season, so I’ll be sharing the things that I’m going to do to give back to the world around me.

I’m not going to lie, being the mother of two has many challenges, and there are a lot of days when I feel like I’m losing my mind. I am thankful for Verizon FiOS, and the hundreds of channels it provides. I would like to send a huge thanks to Disney and the many channels they have to offer, and also Nick Jr. for providing plenty of educational programs that keep my children entertained.

Without children’s programing I am quite sure I would NEVER get ANYTHING done in my house and would probably never shower. The plus side for the boys? Cameron knows quite a few Spanish words, which will come in very handy if he decides to follow his father’s career path. The kids really have no clue that they’re learning something, they just think Dora is fun to watch.

A big THANK YOU to children’s television!

Since Logan is now 1 and likes to feed himself, all that Gerber baby food I bought is just sitting collecting dust. My plan to give something back for this week is to donate all that food to a local food bank.
