Where have you been all my life?

HP Photosmart Plus All-in-One PrinterI’ve been using a HP printer for years now. Like most people, ink is always an issue. I always seem run out of it at the most inopportune time. If not that, then I forget to pick some up when I’m running low, leaving myself high and dry when it finally does run out.

I just picked up an new HP printer so I can print wirelessly from anywhere in my house. I highly recommend this to anyone who uses a laptop. Anyway, today’s money saving find was actually found by my mother who isn’t exactly what I would call a frugalista.

HP shopping online is the way to go. While their prices are comparable to Staples.com, it’s the little extras that make shopping directly through HP worth your while. They’re always running some kind of deal; last week when I placed my order I received 2 FREE packs of paper just for ordering ink multipacks.

I also signed up to be a member of their My Print Rewards club to save up to 15% off my ink orders. Order three times and get 5% off after your 3rd purchase. You’ll get 10% off after your 5th order and 15% off after your 10th. Of course there are some restrictions, so read the fine print.

The best part about ordering from HP online is the shipping. I HATE paying for shipping and I avoid it at all costs whenever I can. HP overs FREE NEXT DAY shipping on ink, toner, and paper. I placed my order late Wednesday morning and had it in my hot little hands Thursday afternoon.

Now that I’m on their email list I get notification of sales and discounts that they’re running on all their products. Now my house is strictly Mac based and PC’s are not permitted to cross the threshold, but I’m sure some of you might be interested in saving on a new computer.

All in all, HP.com is the perfect place to buy your ink, toner, or paper. There are lots of websites that offer free shipping, but not too many will ship it next day. The HP site is easy to navigate and has an ink finder to make sure you buy the right ink for your printer. If you’re in the market for a new printer or computer and you know what you want, I would check HP to see if they’re running any deals before you head over to your local Best Buy.

Have a money saving Monday!
