A Week In Mommyland (Week 11)

Another week in the books here in Mommyland.

I keep wondering when things are going to slow down a bit so I can catch my breath. No chance of it happening anytime soon though. ::sigh::

Monday.

I hope this kid is cuddly forever. Logan loves to make funny faces for the camera, it’s hard to get him to just smile.

Tuesday.

My birthday is still more than two weeks away but I got this great card that was signed by all the directors at work. They cared enough to send the very best…Hallmark.

It was a nice little gesture that really brightened my day.

Wednesday.

Logan loves Nittany but she really has no interest in him. Actually, if I’m being honest, I don’t think she really likes him at all.

Hey, she’s old and he’s small and noisy.

Thursday.

My final run for the 10K Trainer. I have to say I’m pretty proud of myself for making it through the program. Sure, it took me more than it should have but I didn’t give up.

Now what? I’m a little nervous that I’ll have a hard time keeping my progress going now that I’m kind of on my own to make my training plan. I do have some great tools but it’s just not the same as having my phone tell me what I need to do.

Friday.

We discovered an amazing new treat in town and as you can see, Logan LOVED it. Who doesn’t love fro-yo?

Saturday.

Bill and I had a nice day together on Saturday. We started by getting together with some of his high school buddies and their wives. After, we went to the mall and wandered. Of course what goes well with mall wandering? Starbucks! Every time I go to Starbucks I use a different name. This time I was Bethany. Bill’s cup said Bethany too!

Our evening continued with Bill schooling me on Buck Hunter Safari. It was so wonderful to finally spend some quality time together.

Sunday.

AHHHHHHHH, I can’t believe Broad Street is getting so close. All I have to do now is get this shoulder situation I’ve developed under control and I’m home free.

I start my day with a smile when I see what the next kid decorated quote is going to be.
