The Summer of Mommyland Part 2

It’s finally here, Monday is the last day of school for Cameron. First grade is officially in the books. Logan has been out of school for a couple weeks now and is anxiously awaiting the true start to summer.

Let the adventures begin!

Last summer the boys and I had an awesome summer visiting fun new places and making memories that will last a lifetime. I called it The Summer of Mommyland and it was awesome.

OK, it wasn’t always easy. They tested my patience. We got lost a couple of times too. But seeing the boys have those experiences was magical. I was actually kind of sad to see the summer come to an end.

Well this year we’re doing it all over again! Sure, we’ll go to some of the same places we went to last year but I’ll find us some new adventures too.

This year we’re also hoping to bring Bill on a few of our adventures if he can spare a few days away from his company to come out and play.

My hope is that when the boys go back to school in the fall they can share the fun they had. But more importantly, I hope that when they are grown, they look back at their summers off from school and remember all the fun things we did together. I know the memories we made last summer and the ones yet to come will follow me for the rest of my days.

I hope you’ll come along with us as we find new and enriching ways to spend our summer.
