A Week In Mommyland (Week 46)

18 Nov

I’m lucky I even know what day it is right now. I can’t tell you where the month of November has gone but suddenly I blinked and it’s more than half over.

Halloween was a success. Logan has his fifth birthday. As I sit here trying to think of what else has gone on I’m drawing a blank. I look back at my photos and there’s not much there either.

About the only thing I do know is that there are only 26 more days until vacation.

Let’s see, what interesting things have happened this month?

Mommyland

The release of the Starbucks red cup. Oooooh, try to hold back your excitement. I am pretty excited about the Eggnog Latte though.

Bill and I got a 36 hour escape to Maryland and this was the view from our hotel room. While it was only for a few hours, it was nice to get a way with Bill. We had some fun and a lot of laughs together.

Thanks Mom & Dad for taking the boys.

Logan turned 5! How the hell did that happen?!?

If truly feels like just yesterday that he was a baby and now he’s a big kid who will be hopping the bus to Kindergarten in a matter of months.

It’s gotten cold enough for Princess Nittany to need to sit in front of the heating vent to stay warm. Throughout the day she moves from vent to vent, sunny patch to sunny patch in an effort to keep warm.

The preschool mascot, Midnight came for another visit. You can read more about that adventure HERE.

Bill’s business travel took him up to State College and he brought us all new sweatshirts. The boys were so excited about their sweatshirts that we were actually able to get them both to take a picture with me.

It’s been a crazy month so far and there are no signs that things will slow down until at least the new year. I have no hopes of finding my routine and I’ll be living out the rest of 2013 by the seat of my pants.

How have you been? Have you found yourself busier than usual?
